Prusa MK3S+
Slow by today's standards, but reliable and with spare parts everywhere
Many workshops still run MK3S+ because they just don't fail. In exchange they are slow, and their weak point is the PINDA sensor, which measures differently depending on the bed temperature.

Maintenance
- Grease bearings and rods every 300–500 hours.
- Replace the hotend PTFE if repeated clogs occur.
- Check the extruder cable: it breaks due to fatigue over the years.

Is it worth upgrading it or buying new?
If you print daily, a modern machine gives you 3–4 times more speed. If you print occasionally, the MK3S+ still gets the job done.
